re your recent programme - decline in numbers in stag beetles - we have a thriving population in our wooded garden in Bitterne, Southampton, having provided nesting facilities for them as per a wildlife article in a newspaper. Hope the severe winter hasn't affected them too badly.

Very nice to know of your success! What are the nesting facilities? (So others can have a go too.)

By the way, if you would like to correct the location of our observation (the map shows a point in the sea off the W Coast of Scotland) you can do this by using the Edit tab when viewing your observation.
