Oak and Beech

Description:

Sometimes two trees grow so closely together that even their trunks are competing for space. In many cases I guess one tree will dominate but in this case an oak (left) and a beech (right) have both grown to mature trees. The trunks do eventually separate and both have healthy crowns.
