A bird as brown as this must be a very young one - they soon lose that gingery colouration. It must have come from a nesting site somewhere nearby.

I thought it was a Buzzard at first because it was brown, and that Sparrowhawks were always grey. Considering of where we found it would be very interesting to find out where this bird came from as there are very little trees and houses without the steep slant to prevent nesting birds.
