Elephant Hawk-moths

Hi Andrew,
At the date of 3rd September these are full grown larvae looking for somewhere to pupate hence see them wandering across paving etc. There is also a green form of the larvae but both come out as a particularly nice looking moth. If you have a flowering Honeysuckle in the garden then you might just see the adult moths flying around the flowers feeding on the nectar at dusk in June or July
