They have been pretty much avoiding my local patch (although everwhere else here in London seems to have them). These one's in Norfolk were a bit of luck - we'd only stopped at that site to scan for the Rough-legged Buzzard and they dropped in whilst viewing that.

Not sure I fully understand what you are asking but it is a Bohemian Waxwing (Bombycilla garrulous) rather than the US species Cedar Waxwing (B. cedorum)
The official name of 'our' Waxwing is the Bohemian Waxwing but as we so rarely see any other species of waxwing, they are just known as waxwings - similarly Swallows are officially Barn Swallows, etc
