A group of around twelve of these noisy birds arrived in the garden today. We see them fairly regularly despite the RSPB view that 'they are not present in the far north and west of Scotland'- see http://www.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/birdguide/name/l/longtailedtit/index.aspx

Long-tailed tit.

I love these birds, they are so cute. Do you find they appear in your garden at the same time each day? The ones that visit our garden follow the same route. I can watch them follow the river bank then swing round and pass through the front gardens. They do this every day for a week or two then move on elsewhere.
