Found on limestone grassland on Orley Common near Newton Abbot in Devon last summer.
No interactions present.
I have read that the ovipositor of the Short-winged Conehead is upward curved but is almost straight in the Long-winged species. However, there is the question of camera angle.
A comment perhaps more for the future.
That's true, but the difference in ovipositor shape is not well marked in early instar nymphs.
