Description:

This moth was about 2-3cm across, found it indoors. It was a greyish colour with a greenish tinge to it.

Moth identification

The moth shown is NOT a Spring Usher. It is a Pale Brindled Beauty. These can be found flying between January and March, in a variety of habitats. This is a male, females are wingless. Spring Ushers are smaller and tend to fly later in February than this species.
