Bass caught in a shore-based seine net during a student-led BioBlitz in 2008. The bass (undersized) was returned safely to the bay. The BioBlitz (a 24-hour survey of biodiversity) was staffed by students of Falmouth Marine School. It (to my knowledge) was the first marine-based BioBlitz in the UK (the US and other areas have held them previously). I got the idea of holding a BioBlitz from reading Jim Lynch's "The Highest Tide". Well worth reading!
