Description:

These four plants were found at two different locations. Both these locations are rough grassland which covers land which was used as tips for colliery waste. Are there any records of increased colour morphs on coal tips? I have not observed any white forms elsewhere in the area.

Plants

Marsh Thistle, Knapweed, Possible Pale Persicaria to name three. Fourth is a member of the Pea family but cannot say which one from this picture. White forms of flowers are not uncommon. I have seen White Rosebay Willowherb, Bee Orchid, Greater Knapweed and Bluebell to name a few
