These Teal and around 200 others were on the water at Hickling. Every now and then marsh harriers would fly over and some of the duck would lift and swirl about before coming back down.
Then, every bird on the water shot up in some panic, a quick look found a peregrine falcon (Falco peregrinus) flying over. It had already killed however and was carrying what appeared to be a lapwing (Vanellus vanellus).
