What about putting two tags beside any non British Isles observations, one 'non-British-Isles' and a second one stating the actual country. This may well help with getting overseas observations identified as I suspect there are some people with, for example, expertise in birds from several countries who do not want to wade through all the UK bird observations which others on ispot can ID readily anyway.
Putting in the actual country to the tag would help to collect together e.g. observations from Germany or Australia. This could of course be done automatically by the system since we have the actual geographic locations but this automated system is not yet implemented.
