Hi! I'm currently volunteering for the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust as a V involved Volunteer. I am currently working as a Nature Reserves Assistant on the Northern Reserves. At the moment I am working on updating the management plan for Ellerburn Bank nature reserve.
No fungi has previously been observed on the reserve, or reported to Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. I spotted this specimen on my first site visit last November, however I am no expert on fungi so am not sure what it is.
If anyone knows the identification could you please let me know? I can then broaden the species list and include the species within the management plan.
Might be one of the Funnel Caps (Clitocybe species).
