I've agreed with the identification that uses Inarchis as the generic name, but I can find several references to this beast where "Aglias" is cited. It's not clear which one is the current favourite: I'm sure one of the i-SPotters will know!
I have recently seen a check-list used by Butterfly Conservation Europe, dated May 2010, that places the Peacock in Aglais. It's really just a matter of opinion. Quot homines tot sententiae!
Although I would tend to take the view that on a system like iSpot which has a built in taxonomic database it is probably best to stick to using the taxonomic name used by iSpot itself - that will probably all link up better.
