Description:

Cap about 7cm across; pale olive-yellowish.Stout white stem with large bulbous base (beneath the moss level, which I scraped away to photograph.)

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

death cap also seems to be

death cap also seems to be rather less common in scotland than further south and i've never seen it growing with moss like this.
