Short-tailed field vole

This is a short-tailed field vole, as John says, short tail; blunt, stubby muzzle are indicators. Also the large ears and clean differentiation betwnn dorsal and ventral fur colour.

The position of the body is caracteristic of an animal which has died then been carried by a cat. Is that ice or marble it is lieing on?
