Norway Maple

The sharply pointed teeth on the leaves, oppositely pointing fruit wings (almost in a line; those of sycamore are less widely spread) and vertically ridged bark (slightly ash-like in appearance, in contrast to the platy-looking bark of sycamore) are all typical for Norway Maple. An attractive, commonly planted tree.
