Plover

Has the look of a golden Plover, rather than Grey Plover, but the colours are very washed out, so not certain..

What are the yellow flowers growing on the rocks, at this time of year?

Yellow flower.

Possibly Common Gorse (Ulex europaeus)

I think the yellow flower is probably seaweed but will double check on my next visit.

Yes, that would make sense...

...certainly does not look like Gorse, though that was a sensible suggestion, as it does flower year round. I just wondered whether it was a different flower and so the picture was actually from earlier in the year...but seaweed sounds right!
