many flower heads on one stem. Each flowerhead no bigger than one inch. Plant about 2 feet tall.

Tansy -

has been used medicinally, and as a strewing herb.
It was also used in cooking, including some ritual recipes (used in the Christian church, probably a relic of pre-Christian practice).
It shouldn't be used without great care, as it is a pretty strong purgative, and is said to have some psychotropic effects.
