Description:

Unbounded excitement! I've never before seen one. Woburn, a mere 5 miles from my house, is playing host to a flock of delightful Waxwings. We drove over and saw 40 or so sitting in the bare branches of a tree. Every now and then, a few would flap over to other trees laden with white berries, grab a few and flap back. I've no idea what the berries were and I didn't care, I'd seen a Waxwing at last. :)
Shame the light was pants. :(

I saw them there this week too when driving past, the light was good but i was late so did n't get a chance of a shot. The berries are Sorbus.

Thanks

Thanks for the berry id., Mike. Let's hope they stick around while the sorbus berries last. If I get a chance to return in better light, I'll go and try again, probably with a monopod, too.
