Three separate whimbrels from amongst 20-30 that were present on the eastern approach to Marazion.
No interactions present.
Compare with my post http://www.ispot.org.uk/node/8968 which showed curlew head markings.
Looked at yours and looked at RSPB site - agreed, it's a whimbrel! Must reduce the confidence of my IDs...!
The Marazion Area hold nationally important numbers of Whimbrel during spring migration. In some years the numbers here are greater than at any other site in Britain.
