This stuff is a fungus, unlike my last post which remains a mystery! Growing on dead fallen beech branch

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Not to be confused with Weird Slime (see http://ispot.org.uk/node/10095), which occurs in wet places and has no known cause!
Not sure, but the yellow one might be Yellow Brain fungus, Tremella mesenterica.
I would also say the yellow one is yellow brain fungus, but I don't recognise the white one.
I think cooperj has correctly identified the stuff in both pictures as T. mesenterica. I've seen a lot of Exidia nucleata around subsequently, and this ain't it!
