Benasaurus's picture

Observed: 4th December 2010 By: Benasaurus

I saw this single Bunting searching for food on my back garden lawn the day after rain which had caused rapid snow melt. I live in the urban area of the Bournemouth district. I thought it may be a Corn Bunting, but the white flanks of the tail feathers have confused me! Hope there is someone out there who can quiet my curious mind!
Sorry about the photo quality.. i could only grab my digital compact camera at the time!
