Common names -

there has been a discussion about the importance of systematic names on iSPot. While I agree entirely, I'm one of those who relies heavily on common names: so adding "cow parsley" to the revision would have saved me a quick looking-up ;o)

I understand

I have problem's at times but some people are taught the scientific name, because it is used in other country's and common names do vary in different regions,so maybe it is better if everyone uses both were possible.I have alway's found scientific better for wild plants, weeds as they have so many common names

Herb-Robert

Herb-Robert is strong smelling and normally would have a red ting to the leaf.If you see it again rub the leaves and you would have a unpleasent smell, plus it has more of a straggling habit than the one on the pic's you have on your observation
