Ringing session pictures

Thanks for your kind comment. We have set this iSpot account so that the Phoenix group, based at RSPB Saltholme, can post images they find of all types of organism.

That's great. If you add a

That's great.

If you add a tag of the format bioblitz-RSPBSalthome to each observation, you can see them all gathered together by following the Bioblitzes link in the Observations drop-down menu at the top of any page. (These tags can be added even after the observation has been made by using the Edit tab that you will see when logged in and looking at your own observations).

This will work for multiple users too, so people can have their own accounts and still see the group's observations all in one place.

The Bioblitzes are short-term events, but I don't think it matters if you are not time-limiting your observations.

Bioblitz

We are considering running a Bioblitz in the summer so would it be possible to give a seperate tag for any observations that are not linked to the main Bioblitz event, say 'bioblitz-RSPBSaltholmePhoenix'?

Yes, basically any tag that

Yes, basically any tag that starts bioblitz-xxx where xxx is anything you like will automatically create a link on the bioblitz page that gathers all those observations together.

I suggest that you use short, informative tags if you can though or people will spell them wrong and then observations will end up in the wrong place (although you can correct this using Edit).

You could call your summer bioblitz something like bioblitz-RSPBSaltholme2011
