Description:

This ladybird with orangey elytra and approximately 18 black spots appeared on our kitchen table at suppertime.
I have sent my sighting to the Harlequin Ladybird Survey at http://www.harlequin-survey.org.
As they are said to pose such a threat to bio-diversity, should we be dispatching them when we find them?

You could not 'dispatch'

You could not 'dispatch' enough to make a difference, I am afraid. They are so common now.
