Description:

I often find the dry transparent floats of these washed up on the shore, but this is the first time I've seen one intact. I came across it when canoeing in a sheltered bay.

I found a lot of these alive

I found a lot of these alive when kayaking off the W coast of Scotland last month - the first time I have ever seen them other than beached. A spectacular colour when they are fresh.
