Looks OK for jackdaw, but to be certain I would need to know more about the size of the eggs and where they were found. The background looks like roof insulation, so were they found in a loft?
yep - in a loft, roughly 5 cm in height
Well, the illustration in my reference book (A Second Book of British Birds and Their Nests, Ladybird c1960) has the egg at 3.5 cm, but I expect 5cm is within the size range. Location is definitely right for jackdaw, and few other birds of that size. Pigeons might nest in lofts, but I think their eggs are always white.
Perhaps a more wealthy birder with a copy of Birds of the Western Palearctic will check the size for me...
