Very solid, robust, heavy, yet delicately coloured and sweet smelling mushrooms in grassland. Buff, waxy-looking caps, gills crowded, stipe has some lilaceous hints. In GRASSLAND.
This wasn't the first time i've found Field Blewits (or Blue Legs as they're known by locals) in Feb/March. As Parad1se recently commented, they don't read the books do they?
